Day 5 Chosen and Loved

So I woke up too early today, (I wont even tell you what time I woke up this morning), but I just couldn't sleep! I kept thinking about yesterday when did a video about my struggle with insecurity. I kept thinking about it,  and I felt like in my spirit that God was trying to tell me more about it. So I got up, got my coffee, and I started researching scripture on my worth and value in Christ. I started to read these verses over and over and just came to realize the extreme importance of declaring the word of God over your life every single day. It literally is the armor we have to protect us in the battle. We have the choice to believe one thought over another. The enemy loves to pounce on us, trip us up, and take us down in a matter of seconds if we let him. We have to be armed and ready to go when those thoughts start to try to get in our head.  So, today, the declaration and words that I want on 'loop' or on 'repeat' in my life are, "Chosen and Loved".  I am Chosen and I am so loved by the creator of the universe!

  • I start my day asking for strength and blessing and focusing on feeling thankful for sooooo much that I have. When I feel myself taking something for granted, I try to remember when my life was so opposite. This challenge has not been difficult, but it has been a challenge- simply because I almost never put myself first. I’m thankful for this opportunity and Ge first of the year to start new positive practices.

    Deuteronomy 7:9
Covenant and covering- having faith and knowing that there is protection over your children. Exercise consisted of :40 of carpet cleaning in the squat & kneeling position ? that was super fun! Thankful 5 was all centered around health, mine and that of others. Please don’t take your for granted.

  • I always pray before I get out of bed in the mornings and before going to sleep at night. I have a very strong prayer life that I pray many times during the days when someone crosses my mind I especially lift them up. Reading my Bible is in my normal routine also., just never been one to journal. Writing down 5 things I’m thankful for is easy also. I’m not into fitness /working out but my daily routines I never stop. Lifting a 2 yr old I get a work out. Thanks Brit for helping us all stay focused on keeping Jesus #1 in our lives. You are a true blessing to all. I just want you to get more rest but I know your hyper and wont , but i’ll keep reminding you., REST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love you.

  • I love this so much because I struggle with the self doubt and self criticism and it’s so hard sometimes!

  • Day 4 and 5 done, forgot to post last night. Thank you for your beautiful heart and soul and encouragement to keep us growing spiritually and physically. Today’s reading in 2 Kings 4 when we feel inadequate or think what we have to offer isn’t sufficient , I want to remember that God asks us to give what we have in faithful obedience . He is the one who makes it enough. This is a wonderful reminder in our daily lives that as we seek God , in every area He will supply us with enough of everything. Sometimes my energy level is low and I feel like I can’t do another thing or go another 10 minutes on treadmill but I pray and ask God to give me enough to keep pressing upward and onwatd.and He does as this morning was a great example as I wanted to jump off treadmill and only had 10 minutes to go. I prayed and He gave me enough strength to keep my goal for the day. Praising Him and very grateful for another day accomplished in Him and grateful for you Britney for your faithful support, and prayers and sacrifice in sharing your time and tips with all of us. Love you and those on team . Xoxoxo have a blessed day.

  • Day 4 completed yesterday- it’s easy to get fitness, thankfulness, and praise in when your city is getting a once in a generation snowfall. Walking in a winter wonderland with praise music in my earbuds is a little slice of heaven on this earth! Day 5 is complete except for my workout, which I’m about to do. I hope I can keep this up when life gets back to the same old everyday schedule again!
