Spiritual Fitness Day 17: Focus on His Presence, Not the Problem

{Spiritual 5}

As a parent, I've had the joy of witnessing my babies take their very first steps.  Watching them try so hard to get up and take those first few steps and then fall, its just the cutest thing you ever saw.  I remember my oldest who took her first steps. She would try so hard to get up and then fall down, only to try again over and over again.  Once she gained her balance, she took a few steps before she stumbled again. Oh how I wanted to hold her hand and help her. I was right there beside her, I didn't want to see her fall. I believe that's how God sees his children.  He knows we will go trials, problems, and we will stumble.  He knows we will fall but He is right at our side, upholding us with his mighty hand. When we fall, just like a loving parent comes and helps their child up so they can try again, The Father's arms are also open wide. He wants us to just focus on him and not the problems in our lives. They will come and go but He always remains.

There will be times in your life where you fail and that's okay. Remain focused on what your vision is. Trials, problems, challenges only sharpen your to be better.

Psalm 37:23-24, " The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in Him, though he may stumble, he will not fall for the Lord upholds him with his hand."
