"Be strong and brave... The Lord your God will be with you everywhere you go." Joshua 1:9

Joshua was a brave guy. Moses just died and now he was suppese ot lead the Israelites into the Promised Land. God reminded Joshua of this, " It doesn't matter what you face, I will give you the power to overcome when you follow me." We can be courageous and confident because we know He is our faithful Father and our Guide who never fails.

What does it look like to live courageously? Maybe it it means we try something scary for the first time in our lives instead of running from it. Maybe its starting a new business when you have no idea where to start but you know God has dropped thing thing in your heart to do. Maybe it's  finally accepting an offer of a friend to go to church for the first time in a long time, maybe it's telling a friend for the first time about the love of Jesus.

Whatever it is, I know with all my heart that God will help you, sometimes we just have to have the courage to say "God you are in control and I will trust you", get out of our own way and give it to God.  Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit everything you do to the Lord. Trust him, and he will help you."

Faith isn't the absence of fear, it's the presence of courage. Courageous faith changes our thoughts and our mindset. When we have courageous faith, you know God is always with you.

Lord, I can be strong and courageous because I know You are always with me. Help me to live courageously for You. I am so thankful that I don't have to live in fear or doubt because I know you go before me, you never fail me, and you are Who gives me courage. I praise you that You are All Mighty, all powerful, and without limitation! In Jesus name, Amen

Embrace Courage today.

Live Courageously in Christ!

We appreciate the time you spend on getting the word out … God said in His Word that “My people perish from lack of knowledge.”
