What is Truth?
To have get truth, you have to move beyond the opinion of man.
God's truth goes beyond all authority of any other 'truth' or cultural trends. Truth never changes and therefore is timeless. Truth must be ancient because it was around before man was ever even created and will continue long after man leaves this earth.
Truth can't be found within the thinking or reasoning of man. The created can not say to the Creator, "I've created my own truth." It doesn't really work that way. Truth comes from someone higher than humans in every way. It can only come from God and he certainly doesn't think like us;
"My thoughts are completely different from yours," says the Lord. "And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts." Isaiah 55:8-9
