What are you dreaming about in a career, a spouse, a family, a future? Write it down so when you see it, you know it.
John Maxwell says this, "I've never known a leader without a vision. If you're a good leader, many will follow you because of what the leader sees in the future. Pursue the vision."
Vision is contagious. A clear vision determines your destination. A fuzzy or uncertain vision is vague and more difficult to follow through with, which only complicates things when you are trying to decide on which directions to go.
Maxwell also said this, "A leader is one who knows the way, goes the way, and shows the way." Make sure you write down you dreams and goals! I know I went far too long without creating a vision/mission statement for my company and looking back, that was a mistake that I do regret.
Prayer: Father, I pray that you help me catch your vision, give me a mindset that is specific to me and what you want for my business. More importantly, I pray that you will give me a greater vision of who You are and what your will is for my life. I thank you Lord that you are the Dream-Giver. I praise your for your mighty power in my life and I acknowledge my dependence on you. I thank you that you have great plans to prosper me in this life and to give me a hope and a future. In Jesus name, Amen.
Proverbs 29:18, says this "Where there is no vision, the people perish".
Jeremiah 29:11,"For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, to give you a hope and a future."
TI Tip: Collect inspiration and create a vision board. Find a place to dream and collect inspiration to create your own Vision Board. Write down your goals and your visions for what you are dreaming about. If that is overwhelming, try every month, writing down one mini goal/mo and focus on achieving it.
