Day 49: Waiting on the Lord

"God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams! He does it not by pushing us around but by working within us, his Spirit deeply and gently within us." Ephesians 3:20

A few things I've learnt from waiting upon the Lord:

1) Waiting upon the Lord, does not mean missing out. (Isaiah 55:11)

2) His timing has always turned out way better than what I had thought was great timing (2 peter 3:9)

3) in the Waiting, there's countless invitations to have an upgrade in trust with God. (Psalm 33:20-22)

4) Waiting renews our strength as our leaning into His grace. (Isaiah 40:31)

5) Rather than making something happen on our own, waiting on God gives Him a chance to bless us beyond our wildest dreams (Ephesians 3:20)

I'm still learning what it truly means to wait upon the Lord, AND enjoy it. And the fact that "Wait" is my last name has spoken to me more times than I can tell you😜 Anything you've learned from waiting upon Him?

God wouldn’t have put a dream in your heart if He hadn’t already given everything you needed to fulfill it.
